Feedback Status Report

BambooHR® Performance Management is available for Pro plan customers. Users can access the Feedback Status report to track employee feedback processes. The report is accessible to Account Owners and Full Admin users, with custom access for others based on performance settings. Users can navigate to the Reports tab to find the Feedback Status report, which includes filters such as date range, employee selection, and feedback status. The report features two tabs: Receiving Feedback and Giving Feedback, detailing employee interactions and completion dates. Users can download the report in various formats and share it as needed. The filtering options enhance report usability, allowing for focused data analysis.

Can I run a report to show the status of feedback?

Purpose: To learn how to utilize the Feedback Status report to keep track of where employees are in the feedback process.

Settings

If you have feedback enabled for a review cycle in Settings > Performance, you can access a report to view the status of all feedback.

Feedback Status

Access settings: The report is automatically available to the Account Owner and Full Admin users. Custom access level users can view the report if they have access to Feedback under Performance Management in the access level settings, but the report will only show the employees they can view feedback about. If a manager's direct or indirect reports are assigned to a review cycle, the manager will have automatic access to the report, regardless of their manager access level settings.

To find the report, navigate to the Reports tab, click on the Standard Reports folder, and then select Feedback Status from the Performance and Culture section.

There are three filters you can use to organize the information in the report. Select a date picker, choose the employees you want to view, and then select a feedback status next to "Showing."

The report has two tabs, Receiving Feedback and Giving Feedback, with the following columns on each tab:

  • Employee Name
  • Receiving Feedback From orGiving Feedback To
    • Receiving Feedback From: (The Employee Name column lists recipients of feedback.) Once an employee gives feedback on another employee, a green checkmark will show next to the name of the employee giving feedback. If multiple employees are selected to provide feedback on an employee, the green checkmark will not appear next to the recipient's name until all employees have completed their feedback portion.
    • Giving Feedback To: (The Employee Name column lists providers of feedback.) Once an employee gives feedback on another employee, a green checkmark will show next to the name of the employee receiving feedback. If the employee (provider) has multiple employees to provide feedback on, the green checkmark will not show next to the employee's name until they give feedback on all employees.
  • Date Completed
  • Due Date

In the first two columns of the report, you can click on an employee's name to go to their employee profile to view feedback details.

Upward and/or 360 feedback will show in the Feedback Status report. This includes managers receiving feedback in the Employee column, along with their direct reports listed in the Receiving Feedback From column.

If you want to download and export the Feedback Status report, click the three-dot button in the top right corner and select the file format (Excel, CSV, or PDF). To share the report, click the person icon next to "More."

Filters

There are three options for filtering the information in this report:

  1. Date picker: This report automatically shows data from feedback sent out within the last six months. If you click on the dropdown menu, you can choose Last 3 Months, Last 6 Months, Last 9 Months, Last Year, or Custom Date Range. The Custom Date Range option will allow you to pull data from specified dates.
  2. Filter by employees: Use the standard filters in BambooHR,or select a review cycle to filter the list of employees who appear in the report.
  3. Showing: Filter the results to include only employees with completed feedback, no feedback, or past due feedback.
