Early Access Hub

The BambooHR Product Insider Program invites customers to participate in shaping product development by providing early access to new features. Notifications are sent to Account Owners, Full Admins, and Payroll Admins when new features become available. Customers have the option to opt out of Early Access, which will remove access to the Hub and delay feature visibility until general release. This feature is included in the Core, Pro, and Elite packages.

Purpose: It takes a community to build something great, and we need your help. We want to hear from you, so we can make our product the best it can be and help others free themselves to do great work. To do this, we have developed three customer community programs. In this guide, we will discuss more about the early access features available to customers in the BambooHR Product Insider Program.

What is the BambooHR Product Insider program?

We always want to be sure we are giving our customers tools that help them do great work, and joining forces with those on the frontlines is key to making that happen. As a BambooHR product insider, you get access to new BambooHR features before we release them to all customers, and you can participate in product surveys or research. We refer to this as Early Access and use your feedback to make BambooHR even better. To be a part of this program, visit the link above to sign up. 

Early Access Hub

Early Access Hub

When we release a new feature to Early Access, the feature will appear in the Early Access Hub, along with the feature title, the release date, packaging/add-on information, and feature information. The feature card show the New! label the first time a user views the Hub since the feature started showing up. Upon hover, you will see the Send Feedback button, which allows you to open a feedback survey for the feature.

If there are no features currently released to Early Access, the Early Access Hub will not show any feature cards.

What's Happening widget

The Account Owner and Full Admin users will see a notification in the What's Happening widget on Home, and they will receive an email notification when we release a new feature to Early Access.

If you are a BambooHR Payroll customer, Payroll Admin users can view the Early Access Hub and will also receive email notifications.

Can I opt out of Early Access?

You can opt out of Early Access in the top right corner of the Early Access Hub.

Early Access Hub

If you confirm to opt out, you will not see any new features in your account until we release them to all customers. Opting out of Early Access will remove the Early Access Hub from your account for all users who have access to it (Account Owner and Full Admin users).
