What is the Time Off widget?

Purpose: This article teaches employees how to quickly access and utilize their time off data using the Time Off widget in BambooHR.

Employees with access to a time off category who have been assigned a policy can view their available balance in this widget. The order of time off categories is determined by the company-wide request count for each category +/- one month. If no history exists for time off categories, they will appear in alphabetical order until a history develops. The employee can scroll through time off categories by clicking the arrow to the right of the time off balances. Clicking a time off balance for a category directs employees to their Time Off tab.

Employees with access will see the Request Time Off button in this widget. If employees can view any time off categories, they will see an option to calculate future balances.
