What is the employee experience like for Total Rewards?

Purpose: This guide provides an overview of Total Rewards from the employee’s perspective.

Total Rewards employee timeline

When your admins turn on and add you to Total Rewards, you will first be notified via email.

Click Go To Total Rewards to view your Total Rewards statement.

A new tab will open, showing your full Total Rewards statement.

When you are added to Total Rewards, you will see a notification in the What's Happening Widget. Hover over the notification and either click Go To Total Rewards to view your statement or click the X to remove the notification. 

If you remove the notification, you can always review your Total Rewards statement via your employee profile.

Accessing Total Rewards

As long as your company's Total Rewards is enabled, your Total Rewards statement will be available to view from your employee profile. The information will automatically update when any of the statement categories are updated or added. If your company opts out of Total Rewards, the Total Rewards section will not show on your profile.

Understanding your Total Rewards statement

Here’s how to understand your Total Rewards statement:

  1. Total Rewards Overview: Current compensation number, including current pay rate, bonus, commission, benefits, and perks in an interactive view.
  2. Compensation Details: A breakdown of the current pay rate, benefits, and perks, as well as the monetary value and percentage.
  3. Current Pay: Current compensation number. This may show in salary or hourly based on your current compensation data.
  4. Pay History: Pay history shows adjustments over time.
  5. Potential Bonus: Total projected bonus for the year if you are projected to receive an additional bonus at a future date.
  6. Bonus History: Bonus history showing adjustments over time.
  7. Commission Summary: Total cumulative commission over time.
  8. Commission History: Commission history shows adjustments over time.
  9. Equity Summary: Summary of current equity for the stated year.
  10. Equity Details: Summary of grant name, vesting start date, strike price, estimated cost to exercise, estimated total value, percent value, and vesting schedule.
  11. Estimated Valuation Growth: Interactive estimation of growth based on company information.
  12. Benefits Summary: Total amount of company contributions for an employee's benefits.
  13. Benefits Details: Current benefits breakdown, including perks and reimbursements. If you are using Benefits Tracking, clicking the description under each benefit will bring you to the benefit's website. If you are enrolled in Benefits Administration, clicking the description under each benefit will show a modal with more details.
  14. Time Off Summary: Summary of time off, including paid time off, volunteer time, sick days, etc.
  15. Holiday Summary: Summary of all company holidays.

As an employee, you can only view the details of your own Total Rewards.
