Invoice terms

As part of our month-to-month model, BambooHR does not use net 30 terms. Invoices are due upon receipt to ensure a straightforward and transparent billing process. However, we understand that life can be unpredictable, so we offer a 22-day grace period to accommodate any unforeseen circumstances. This aligns with our commitment to providing flexible and reliable service.

Agreement and acceptance of our terms

Our Terms of Service outline the agreement between your organization and BambooHR, which you accepted upon signing up. We maintain a standard Terms of Service to facilitate the growth and scalability of our business. For month-to-month customers, you can cancel your subscription at any time. For extended-term customers, you can reference your contract for the terms specific to your account.

Signing the Terms of Service when switching to extended terms

If you are working with our sales team to switch from month-to-month to extended terms, the Account Owner or a Full Admin/Billing Contact will need to sign your new Terms of Service before your new terms will be put in place. You can access this three ways.

The first option is from your email. You will receive an email notification notifying you when your new Terms of Service is ready to sign. Click Review Now to review those new terms in BambooHR.

In addition to the email notification, the Account Owner and all Full Admins/Billing Contacts will see a banner notifying you of how many days you have left to sign, with a link that will take you to the Review and Sign modal.

The final option is accessing it directly from Settings > Account > Billing. Under the Service Agreement section, hover over the Upcoming Extended Terms option and click Review and Accept.

Each of these options will bring you to the Accept Terms of Service modal. Once you have reviewed the terms, check the box next to "I've reviewed and accept the Terms of Service," then click Submit.

Once you have accepted the new terms, you can view them in Settings > Billing under the Service Agreement section. Hover over Upcoming Extended Terms, then click View.

If you do not accept the new Terms of Service before your next month-to-month invoice is supposed to be generated, the extended-term deal and all associated discounts will be void. Your account will revert to standard month-to-month pricing, and you will need to contact your sales representative to regenerate your new terms.

If you have not signed your new Terms of Service at least 48 hours before your invoice is generated, you will receive an email notification prompting you to review and sign them.

Cancellation process

You are solely responsible for the proper cancellation of your subscription. For month-to-month customers, you may cancel your subscription at any time. For extended-term customers, your cancellation will be effective on your contract renewal date. For more information, review our account cancellation guide. If you choose to cancel your subscription or if the agreement is terminated by either BambooHR or you, BambooHR will refund any prepaid fees (for annual prepayment customers only) covering the period remaining after the date of termination for all subscriptions. However, no refund will be granted for the then-current month.
