BambooHR’s email alerts help you save time by automating reminders for employees, managers, and other designated recipients. Instead of manually tracking deadlines or updates, you can configure alerts once and let BambooHR handle the rest. 

To create an email alert, navigate to Settings > Email Alerts and then select +Add Alert. When creating an email alert, you configure the following settings:

• What triggers the alert (if applicable)
• When the alert is sent (if applicable)
• Who receives it 

Detailed setup instructions for each email alert type are available in separate help guides. You can access those guides by selecting the alert name in the table below. 

After an alert is created, the Send To column in Settings > Email Alerts makes it easy to see who is scheduled to receive each alert.

You can edit it at any time by clicking its name, or delete it using the trash can icon.
