Deputy provides an end-to-end cloud solution for managing your workforce. From employee scheduling to payroll integration, all provided as one solution. Do your scheduling using our web or mobile app and publish to your staff via email/SMS/push notification with the option of having your employees confirm their shifts. Employees can clock in using Deputy mobile apps with geo-location tagging, or they can use the Deputy Kiosk iPad app with face detection. Transfer your virtual timesheets to cloud payroll solutions seamlessly with complete overtime calculations. Or download to file for Excel or on-premise analysis. Nice, simple, and easy!

How do I enable the Deputy integration?

Edit settings

Log in to Deputy and navigate the Locations tab. Click Edit Settings next to the location you would like to integrate with BambooHR.

Edit services

Go to Notifications & Integrations and click Edit Services.

BambooHR app

Check the BambooHR box and click Continue.

Activate

Click Activate next to each feature you would like to set up for the integration.

  1. New User: This function will sync employees created in BambooHR to Deputy.
  2. Approved/Export Leave: When Leave is exported and approved in Deputy, it will sync to time off information in BambooHR.
  3. Import Leave Balance/Sync Leave Balance: The Leave balance from BambooHR will sync with Deputy's Leave balance.

BambooHR login

A pop-up window will appear. Enter your BambooHR subdomain* and click Connect.

*The subdomain is the first part of your BambooHR URL, so if your account URL is https://helpcontent.bamboohr.com, your subdomain would be helpcontent.

Login – Help Content BHR Payroll

You will then be redirected to your BambooHR account, where you will need to enter your login information.

After logging in, the window will close, and you will get a prompt to configure your automation rules in Deputy.
