Assessments: Assessment periods are open for 30 days and kick off with an email notification sent to all filtered employees prompting them to complete their assessments. Employees will receive an email when the period begins to complete their assessments. Managers will also be able to go directly to the Assessment tab for employees who report to them and Complete the Assessment as a Manager.
Reminder Assessment Email Notifications are also sent out, 10 days, 3 days, and 1 day before the Assessment Period ends. This is a "soft deadline", so employees can fill out their assessments any time after the deadline has passed. Managers can also fill out assessments anytime after the deadline passes, as long as the employee's manager has not changed.
Feedback: When the Feedback date arrives, all managers who have direct reports will receive emails prompting them to request feedback for their direct reports. They are able to request feedback from up to 10 people per employee. Those who are assigned to give feedback will then receive an email notification.
Managers will have 14 days to assign feedback and will receive a reminder notification if they have not given out assignments within 14 days. Once this is sent, employees also have 14 days to submit their Feedback. If they haven't completed it by that date, they will receive a final reminder before it expires. Completed feedback triggers a notification to the manager, and they can find it in the Feedback section of the Performance tab of each employee that reports to them.
Goals: Unlike the other two features, Goals are always available. They are designed to be employee-driven, but Managers can align employees' goals with their own. Goal sharing allows multiple employees to have all the same capabilities for editing, updating, and viewing a goal. Managers and admins can keep track of these from the Goals Status report.
Performance 1:1s: The 1:1s feature in BambooHR Performance Management allows managers to schedule and manage regular meetings with their direct reports. It provides a structured way to set agendas, track discussion points, and record past meetings.
