No. The signers on pending requests will not update to reflect changes. In other words, the signers are locked in place at the time the signature is requested. If you need to update the signers on a template, you can cancel the pending signature request and then request a signature again.

Signature requests cannot be deleted from the inbox. You can delete an individual signature request from the Signed Documents section on the Reports tab. Click the name of the document, hover your cursor over the employee’s name, and then click the “x” to delete the request.

Yes. You can request signatures in groups by typing the access level name or the location name into the request box.

The font depends on whether you are viewing the document in-app or printing it as a PDF. In-app, the font is Source Sans Pro. When you print it as a PDF, the font will be Helvetica on Mac and Arial on Windows. The size of the text depends on the size of the text box. The signature uses the Herr Von Muellerhoff font.

There is not a preview option. However, you could add a checkbox in the bottom corner of the document, assign the box to yourself, and set yourself as Signer One. You can add the remaining signers below. This will allow you to view the document before it goes to the other signers. All you have to do is check the box then click Confirm Signature to get it sent on its way.

• For a Windows computer: Click the field, hold down Alt, and drag your mouse to where you want the new field to be.
• For a Mac computer: Click the field, hold down Option, and drag your mouse to where you want the new field to be.

Yes. You can add hyperlinks to an e-signature document by adding the hyperlinks to the original document, uploading the document to the Files tab, creating the signature template, and then instructing your employees to download the file to view the link(s) before signing the document.

To preserve the integrity of the document, an e-signature request cannot be redirected. You will need to cancel the existing request and send a new one by following these steps:

1. Update the signing order and signers in your signature template. This help guide walks through how to edit a template.
2. Then, cancel the pending e-signature request from the Signed Documents report. You can get to this report by navigating to Reports > Signed Documents, selecting the signed document name, and then selecting the "X" next to the signature you want to cancel.
3. Then, request the signature again. The new signature request will follow the new signing order.

There are a few different reasons a completed signature form could have blank fields upon completion:

1. If the fillable boxes on your signature template are not marked as required, employees can choose not to complete those boxes.
2. If the signature template is attached to an onboarding task and is not marked as required, it is possible for employees to choose not to sign the whole form (even if the form has required fields on the template itself). Review your Signed Documents report to see who chose not to sign forms.
3. If your signature template contains placeholders (i.e., Employee Name, SSN, Birth Date, etc.) and does not have data entered in the first step of the New Hire Packet or on the employee profile, the placeholder will stay blank.

If the employee completed a document without filling out all the fields, you will need to resend the signature request if you require those missing fields to be completed. To avoid this issue, be sure to mark any required fields as required when setting up your e-signature template.

If you have scanned the document or are using an upload that has some misalignments, the system may try to cancel out any discrepancies in alignment. This will result in some text disappearing. We recommend reuploading a higher resolution image or creating the document as a file on your computer and then uploading it.

You must enable the employee in an access level with a current hire date (not a date in the future). You can still send signature requests to onboarding employees via the New Hire Packet or from the action menu on their employee profile. Please note that you cannot request a signature from a non-employee user.

If you are assigned to a custom access level, your access level may not have access to the employee's Signed Documents folder. Full Admins can check and update your access level. If you are a Full Admin user, you can go to the Signed Documents report and company inbox.

This is most commonly caused by a blank field in the employee profile. The e-signatures can only pull information from the employee profile. The other reason might be that the employee chose not to sign the document. This will happen if their signature is not required.

Suppose you request an e-signature document that has e-signature placeholders pulling in the employee's information, but you had the wrong information entered on the employee's profile at the time of request. In that case, the document will still pull the correct information if the first signer has not yet viewed the document.

If the document has not been viewed by the first signer yet, simply update the employee's profile with the correct details, and those changes will be reflected in the document. However, if the first signer has already viewed the document, you will need to send a new request.

You can check the document's status (e.g., viewed or pending) and cancel the old request, if needed, from the Signed Documents report.

Those e-signature templates are automatically generated for all applicable companies as a one-time courtesy shortly before the previous form expires and another template is available from the government. If the e-signature form is deleted, we are not able to push out the ready-made templates again. The best option would be to download the forms from the IRS website and set it up as a new signature template.
