Purpose: This help guide will walk former BambooHR® Payroll customers through the process of requesting extended access to their payroll data.

If you have canceled services with BambooHR Payroll, we are sad to see you go, but we will ensure you have access to the payroll data you need. By default, you will have access to reports in TRAXPayroll until June 1st of the following year of cancellation (i.e., if you cancel in March of 2024, you will have access to payroll reports until June 1, 2025) at no extra charge. If you wish to extend your access beyond that point, you have the option to do so for a fee of $200 per month by first contacting Payroll Support. After 30 days, you will no longer have access to TRAXPayroll, otherwise specified and paid for upfront.

Please note that the $200 fee is not recurring and is applicable on a month-by-month basis. If you wish to have access for longer than 30 days, you will need to reach out to Payroll Support again. You can also specify how many months you will need and pay the total charges upfront. 

To request extended access, you must be listed as a former payroll admin in the account. Then, you can contact Payroll Support.

For security purposes, you must use a checking or savings account to process the fee. If you plan to use the same bank account you previously used with BambooHR to process the $200 fee, please have the last four digits of the bank account handy. If you plan to use a different bank account, please make sure to have a voided check or bank account verification letter handy to update your banking and reach out to our Support team who will assist you. Please keep in mind it will take three days to process the fee with your bank, in which you will see a debit to the account. Once they process the fee, you will receive access to payroll reports.

To log in to TRAXPayroll and retrieve your payroll reports after your services have been canceled, navigate to secure.traxpayroll.com. Once you are logged in, you will have full access to the Reports tab in TRAXPayroll to pull your historical payroll data.
