An overview from BambooHR® Marketplace:

Doneboard is a complete solution to integrate all aspects of IT into your onboarding and offboarding processes. The key components are user account provisioning and deprovisioning, inventory management, and device management and security. When onboarding a new employee, you can simply turn on their key cloud services and ship a fully-configured laptop and monitor from a secure warehouse to the user. When offboarding an employee, you can simply turn off their cloud services and have their laptop and monitor returned to a secure warehouse. Doneboard handles all aspects of inventory management including procurement, pre-shipment setup, post-return secure wipe, storage, disposal, and real-time tracking.

How do I enable the Doneboard integration?

In the Doneboard client setup process, Doneboard will associate your admin email addresses with the BambooHR integration, so you will be able to log in using your BambooHR credentials.

Once you log in, go through Doneboard's initial setup wizard. You will be asked to connect to BambooHR.

Once you click Connect to BambooHR, you will be asked to authenticate with your BambooHR credentials.

After completing this step, Doneboard will be integrated with your BambooHR account.

How are onboardings and offboardings handled between BambooHR and Doneboard?

When you onboard or offboard an employee in BambooHR, you will receive an email from Doneboard within one hour with a link to complete the IT components of the process. Simply click on the link, log into Doneboard, and follow the wizard to complete the required steps for that employee.

What data syncs from BambooHR when I onboard or offboard an employee?

All the relevant data on onboarding or offboarding employees will be synced to Doneboard. This includes name, address, start/termination date, and department. For more detail about syncing fields, please click here and navigate to the Integration section.
