What reporting options are available for Recognition and Rewards?

Before you start

Before running reports:

  • Recognition and Rewards must be enabled.
  • You must have access to reporting functionality.
  • Reporting permissions may vary based on access levels.
  • All Recognition and Rewards reports are found through Settings > Recognition > Reports (not in the Reports tab on the left navigation).

Where to locate the reports

The Recognition and Rewards reports are found under Settings > Recognition > Reports. Please note these are not found under the Reports tab on the left side navigation.

Employee Points Balance Report

The Employee Points Balance Report provides a real-time snapshot of employee point balances. From Settings > Recognition > Reports, click the Employee Points Balance report.

Available columns include:

  • Name
  • Department
  • Location
  • Points to Give
  • Points to Redeem

Features include:

  • Real-time data
  • Sorting
  • Filtering
  • CSV export

Only employees included in Recognition and Rewards appear in this report. However, private recognition messages are hidden in reporting.

Reward Redemption Report

The Reward Redemption Report displays reward redemption activity. From Settings > Recognition > Reports, click the Reward Redemption report.

Available columns include:

  • Name
  • Employee Number
  • Redemption Date
  • Reward Type
  • Merchant
  • Reward Value (USD)

The report includes:

  • Active employees
  • Inactive employees
  • Terminated employees

Features include:

  • Sorting
  • Filtering
  • CSV export

Only employees included in Recognition and Rewards appear in this report. However, private recognition messages are hidden in reporting.

Recognition and Rewards custom reporting fields

Under Reports > Custom Reports > New Report you can create a new custom reports including Recognition and Rewards information.

Available recognition fields include:

Sent Recognition:

  • Recognition Date
  • Recipient Name
  • Recognition Message
  • Core Values
  • Is Private
  • Reaction Count
  • Comment Count
  • Points Given

Received Recognition:

  • Recognition Date
  • Sender Name
  • Recognition Message
  • Core Values
  • Is Private
  • Reaction Count
  • Comment Count
  • Points Given

Private recognition messages do not display message content in custom reports.

Rewards fields

Available rewards fields include:

  • Redemption Date
  • Redemption Type
  • Reward Merchant Name
  • Redemption Amount

Redemption types include:

  • Gift Card
  • Charity
  • Visa Prepaid

Important notes and limitations

  • Employee Points Balance data is real-time.
  • Private recognition messages are hidden in reporting.
  • Redemption reports include historical employee activity.
  • Custom Reports may display multiple rows per employee when multiple redemptions exist.
