The Celebrations widget lets employees know about upcoming birthdays or work anniversaries of other employees. Employees can see all upcoming birthdays or work anniversaries on this widget. BambooHR will display celebrations happening in the upcoming 30 days by default, but users can clickLoad more Celebrationsto view additional celebrations.
We believe it is important for employees to know when people in your organization are celebrating, so they can celebrate with them no matter where they are in your company, which is why we show celebrations for everyone within this widget.* The following features are available in this widget:
- You can filter this information by My Circle (your peers, manager, and direct reports), Department, Division, Employment Status, Job Title, or Location.
- On an employee's birthday or anniversary, we make it extra special by adding some falling confetti and wishing the employee a happy birthday or work anniversary in the Celebrations widget. On the day of the celebration, confetti will fall from the top banner of Home to celebrate the employee!
- A quick link to the iCalendar feeds. From here, an employee can create a new calendar feed to show BambooHR's calendar in an outside calendar program
- A quick link to a full calendar view of celebrations and time off in the company.
*You can grant an employee access to the widget through access levels. When you check to show this widget, you give them access to birthdays and work anniversaries.
