Welcome to Company

The Welcome to Company widget facilitates employee integration by displaying information about new hires. It showcases recently hired employees along with their "Get To Know You" details, which can be revealed or hidden by clicking designated options. New hires are listed based on their hire date and must have an active status; contractors are excluded. The widget's visibility depends on the Company Directory settings, allowing employees to see information according to granted access. If onboarding is not utilized, or if the "Get to Know You" questions are hidden, only basic details such as name, job title, department, hire date, and photo will be displayed. Access levels can be adjusted to keep the widget hidden if necessary.

What is the Welcome to Company widget?

Purpose: To teach how the Welcome to Company widget helps employees get to know new employees who join their company. This help guide will teach you more about what information will show in the Welcome to Company widget.

Rapid company growth can make tracking new hires difficult. This is where the Welcome to Company widget comes into play!

The Welcome to Company widget displays recently hired employees and some of their 'Get To Know You' information.* Click Learn about [Name] to reveal the Get To Know You information. You can click See less about [Name] to hide it again.

New hires appear when they are active, have a hire date, and it is their first day. However, new hires with the employment status of "Contractor" will not appear. The hire date determines the sorting order of new hires. To view previous new hires, you can scroll down and click Load more New Hires.

The widget displays information according to what you enable in Company Directory settings. Employees can only see other employees and information based on the access you grant them for the Company Directory.

If a company does not use onboarding, chooses to hide the Get to Know You questions, or chooses not to send the Get to Know You email, only the new hire's name, job title, department, hire date, and employee photo appear. You can keep this widget hidden through access levels if needed.
