Small Improvements

An overview from BambooHR® Marketplace:

Small Improvements offers deep integration with BambooHR, so you never have to enter employee data twice. It also integrates with OneLogin for SSO. Conduct painless performance reviews, collect 360-degree feedback from your coworkers, track and share your goals, create quick surveys on improvement, provide continuous feedback and coaching, share company news and success stories.

How do I enable the Small Improvements integration?
Apps Settings

Navigate to Settings and select Apps. Find Small Improvements and click Install.

Under the Subdomain section, select www or eu, depending on your location. Check whether you would like to show the Objectives and Performance Reviews* tabs in BambooHR.

*Please note these tabs will mirror information from Small Improvements. To make edits, you will need to log in to Small Improvements.

After you have enabled the integration within BambooHR, you can follow the steps from Small Improvements on activating the integration.

What data syncs to Small Improvements from BambooHR?

You can find this information in BambooHR® Marketplace. To learn more about syncing fields, please click here and navigate to the Integration section.

How does my information transfer from BambooHR to Small Improvements?

You can view the BambooHR integration details in Small Improvements by going to Administration, Overview, and then selecting BambooHR under "Integrations." When a change to information occurs or a new employee gets added to BambooHR, the specific information will be sent to Small Improvements for synchronization. You can see these updates by going to the Preview tab. After you have reviewed the updates, click Import to transfer the information to Small Improvements from BambooHR.

The first time a scenario for synchronization occurs, you will receive a prompt to review the data and confirm the changes. Afterward, you can choose to automate the importing of information into Small Improvements on the Configuration tab. This option will automatically apply changes or add new employees based on the data in BambooHR.

How can I access my Small Improvements information in BambooHR?

If you choose to show the Performance Reviews and Objective tabs in BambooHR, employees can view their objectives and performance review information from Small Improvements in BambooHR. Please keep in mind this information copies to BambooHR and is not editable. To make changes, a user must log in to Small Improvements.

After an employee clicks on the Objectives or Performance Reviews tab in BambooHR and has not logged in to Small Improvements, they will see a prompt to enter login information. Clicking on this link will take them to a new browser to log in to Small Improvements. Once logged in, they can come back to BambooHR and refresh the tab to view this information.
