How to manage openings in BambooHR Hiring mobile app?

Purpose: BambooHR Hiring gives you access to quickly review and share your job openings. This guide will show you what job openings are available in the app.

Openings

When you first log in to BambooHR Hiring, you will see a list of the current job openings you have access to view. If you have new candidates, you will see a highlighted number next to the job opening. You can filter and sort the list (more information below).

Filter

The filter list defaults to show all open and draft openings. If you tap Filter & Sort, you will see an option to filter the list to show only a specific job opening status (Draft & Open, All, Draft, Open, On Hold, Filled, and Canceled). Select the filter and tap Apply and you'll see the filtered view.

Sort

The sort list defaults to Created Date, however you can also select Candidate Count, Hiring Lead Name, Job Title, and Status. Select the sort and tap Apply and you'll see the sorted view.

Candidates

Once you tap on a job opening, you will see the list of alphabetized by active candidates still "in the running" by default. Next to each candidate's name, you can see their rating, status, and the amount of time since the candidate applied. If no one has viewed a candidate yet, you will see a dot next to their name to indicate that they are a new candidate.

You can also  Filter & Sort to filter the candidates by Active or Disqualified status, or sort the candidates by Application Date, Last Update, Name, Rating, or Status.

Job Info

Tap the Job Info tab to see basic information about a job opening, including:

  1. The opening date of a job and the amount of time since its opening.
  2. Department
  3. Location
  4. Link of the job opening: Tap and hold to copy the public job link and share it elsewhere.
  5. Hiring Lead
  6. Collaborator(s) list

Additionally, you will see a share icon in the top right corner to share the link via text, email, etc.
